We had an exceptional experience at El Portal De San Lazaro. The hotel staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. They even accommodated our early check-in after a long bus ride. One of the receptionists, Claudia, came to our aid late in the evening when we needed bananas for my partner who was feeling unwell. The breakfast was delicious, and the hotel manager, Israel, made sure everything was to our liking. The rooms were spacious and cozy, with beautiful "sillar" walls characteristic of Arequipa. The location was perfect, just a short walk away from the main sights. We also enjoyed the rooftop terrace with breathtaking mountain views. we would highly recommend this hotel.
